Hello, I'm a newly-single and intrigued by internet dating palaver. I have no idea what might happen but originally I made only a half-hearted attempt at writing this little taster, and like anything else, the more you put in etc etc, so here's hoping that this effort is a bit more alluring!

I have a pretty positive outlook on life and I'm looking for someone cheerful and capable of laughing with me at what life throws at us.

I have a wide range of interests and you can probably get me going on anything. I'm currently reading "50 people who bu****ed up Britain"; my favourite journalist is Christopher Booker; I only ever seem to have time to read the letters page in the Telegraph and one day I aspire to do the crossword beyond Wednesday.

I enjoy dancing and live music and will dance or listen to virtually anything, so you could find me at Chicago Rock bopping away or at the Assembly having my ears assaulted by Alabama 3 or possibly in the pub jiving (sort of) to some blues.

I'm either a polymath or a boring old fart. You decide.

I live south of Stratford and work in Warwick. I've just started a new job today (1/12/08) so I will have to tell you later what it's like.

My main non-work activity is playing rugby and helping to run my local club. I'm a prop forward which means that I'm a wall of muscle covered with a generous insulating layer. Cuddly.
